About us

Association “Information Systems, Territorial Planning, Ecology, Consultations and Qualification” – ITEC, is registered in City Court of Sofia under company case №04520/2003, pursuant to the non-profit legal entities act and conducts its activities for the support of development of knowledge and skills in public administration and for the adoption and implementation of the achievements of world theory and practice.

For achieving its goals ITEC carries out the following tasks:

  • Assists for the development of civil society and public administration, as well as, for increasing human resources qualification;
  • Conducts international cooperation, research and dissemination of world values and modern technologies and support for their implementation;
  • Performs researches on practices and negative experience in the field of public administration and development of proposals for elaboration of the legislation in force;
  • Creates strategies and programs for the development of territorial communities, as well as, programs for implementation of infrastructure and standard projects;
  • Develops proposals to the state and municipal authorities for solving problems, related to the public administration functioning;
  • Organizes training courses for professionals and applicants for work public administration;
  • Organizes lectures, consultancy and expert evaluations, discussion boards, workshops, etc., related to the main goals of the association;
  • Organizes publications on issues, related to the goals and tasks of the association and where possible assists in the funding of other organizations for the development of trainings and practice in the field of public administration;
  • Other tasks, related to the goals of the association, not conflicting the law;

The Chairman of the Management Board of ITEC is Prof Yordan Botev, who has an extensive long-time experience in the field of regional development, spatial planning, cadaster and administrative services and geographical information systems for public administration.
